Kery is a passionate educator, practitioner and researcher in the fields of science and health. and currently lives and loves life in the beautiful Blue Mountains in NSW.
Kery’s personal story has given her a deep interest in a society that understands the power of education, the joy of learning and the need for tools to make good choices in life.
She began her career as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1985, working in Private practice and lecturing at Sydney University and TAFE for over 10 years. Recognising her calling was in education, and after moving into a teaching career, Kery embraced the field of Mind Brain Education. Kery is now Director of Active Axons Education and Training.
Kery delivers face to face and online professional development workshop for schools, health professionals and community groups throughout Australasia. The power of essential oils has become part of that training. doTERRA’s loud recognition of the importance of scientific literacy and empowering individual choice has allowed the oils to touch the lives of so many people who may not otherwise have been open to the amazing benefits. She herself is one of those.
Kery’s own health challenges led a wise friend, Amanda, to suggest Frankincense as an option. After a good few months research (groan!!) Kery embraced Frankincense. doTERRA and the Aromatouch Technique became a central part of her family’s life from then on. The “business” was not on the agenda but it just “happened”. She made a conscious decision to follow what seemed to be the blindingly obvious start of a revolution in health.
Her education business has become a “hobby” as doTERRA has become an amazing pipeline, changing the lives of her friends and family. Kery is the super proud mother of three energetic children who span widely across the “Gen” categories. She is working hard to learn to love cricket, of which there apparently can’t ever be too much …… and is grateful that there is an oil for that!
